The hotel is in 19.9 km from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. It is ideally acceptable for a spa/relax, family, business, countryside weekend. There's a whole lot of competition in this area.Being comprised of Clarion hotel chain 3 stars Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre is located at 1485 Garrison Road in Fort Erie in 4.2 km from the centre. I do not recommend it, unless things change. But this used to be a really nice hotel, and it's still NOT cheap. If it were a run-down Motel 6, this might be understandable. And now.it's as though they decided to find the absolute worst sort of breakfast to serve their guests. It was edible, but the space was without AC and there were very few tables. Then a few years ago they moved the breakfast place to a hallway on the top floor. In years past, they had a really nice buffet. Are there perhaps new owners involved who don't understand that a nice hotel will go downhill fast when you attempt to make such ridiculous penny-pinching changes. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because my groups enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, and the location is good for our activities. It was so bad that unless things change, I will not be bringing my groups here again. Not this Clarion! The breakfast was nasty nasty, a bagged version with a microwave breakfast "sandwich" and a couple cold dry items.
As a tour operator, I use many Choice Hotel properties and am happy to see that most are now back to offering a "post Covid" decent hot breakfast again.
We bring a group of 12 to Baraboo almost every summer, and have seen this hotel go from being really terrific to less than average. Our on-site parking can accommodate most cars, trucks and busses. Microwave and refrigerator rentals and cold-weather hookups are available. For added convenience, we have a game room and coin-operated laundry facilities on the premises. Select rooms have hot tubs, microwaves and refrigerators.
